Position Summary
Kaplan International Casual Teachers are responsible for all aspects of
classroom management within their designated classes, as well as adherence to
the Kaplan curriculum, helping international students achieve their academic

Key Job Responsibilities
- Teach
classes using Kaplan curriculum, across multiple levels, as assigned
- Prepare
lesson plans according to established syllabus
- Maintain
a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, including maintaining
classroom facilities
- Maintain
accurate record keeping for daily attendance and student performance
- Complete
all paperwork within required deadlines
- Attend
staff meetings and in-house workshops; participate in ongoing teacher
training programs

familiar with and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Tutor
students as assigned and if available
- Work
with academic supervisor to improve delivery of Kaplan academic Accept and
incorporate feedback on classroom performance to ensure positive and

- Competent
degree of computer literacy using e-mail, word processing programs, and
learner management systems. Experience facilitating online learning
environments is an asset.
- Highly
organized, tactful, versatile, and flexible with excellent communication
skills; sensitive to and understanding of the needs of adult immigrant
learners; attitudes and values in keeping with the goals and philosophies
of MOSAIC.
