Baton Integration MT4
Hold baton (or pencil) gently in your left hand with 2 fingers and thumb.
On stressed syllables, the baton touches right hand or slides across it and the right hand catches the baton
On unstressed syllables before the stressed syllable, the left hand takes the baton back slightly before going back to the starting position and on to touch the right hand.
The Baton can be used in at least 2 ways:
A. Touching the right hand on stressed syllables, like beating out the rhythm of a song
B. Touching the right hand and ALSO doing one of the MT4 patterns from Lessons 7 & 8.
L8 added ways to speak with more emotion:
For secondary stress
o Finger flick
o Mini fall-rise
