Yā Rabb, You taught us through Your Prophet (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam): "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent."

Guard my tongue today—in every message, comment, post, and search:

• Let me not spread gossip (ghība) or slander.
• Let me not waste time in vanity (bāṭil).
• Let me not look at what is ḥarām.

Remind me that every word is recorded: "Not a word does he utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it)." (Qur'an 50:18)

Protecting Identity and Family

Yā Ḥafīẓ, O Protector, You commanded us to guard what has been entrusted to us.

In this time, I must also guard:

• My personal information, my passwords, my family's security,
• My reputation and my family's honor,
• My wealth from fraud and theft.

You have made available tools to help watch over my digital footprint, to alert me to danger, and to help restore what is stolen. Help me to use these protections wisely, as part of my duty to safeguard what You have entrusted to me (amānah).

Seeking Justice and Counsel

Yā ʿAdl, O Most Just, You commanded us to stand firmly for justice.

Thank You for systems of law and for  legal counsel that help families navigate disputes and contracts with fairness. Help me to seek counsel when I need it, to act with justice (ʿadl) in all my dealings, and to protect my household from harm and exploitation.

Evening—Before Logging Off

Alhamdulillāh, all praise to Allah for guiding me through this day.

Yā Ghaffār, O Most Forgiving, where I used my devices well today—for learning, connecting, helping—I thank You. Where I wasted time, spoke carelessly, or looked at what I should not have, I seek Your forgiveness (astaghfirullāh) and Your help to do better tomorrow.

Tonight I place my identity, my accounts, my reputation, and my family in Your hands.

• "He knows what is before them and what is behind them." (Qur'an 2:255)
• You never sleep, You never forget, You are al-Wakīl—the Trustee of all affairs.
